About

A dialogue between body and sculpture.

Zelleznik begins with sculpture. Forms emerge through self-made sculptures, developed further through paper sculpting before being translated into garments. Couture techniques and textile manipulation are used in service of form, while construction follows the logic of material flow. The body is treated as a site of support rather than the central subject, allowing the garment to take on its own presence. The work is driven by a continuous curiosity about where a garment ends and a sculpture begins. Created by Nina Železnik, a Slovenian fashion designer and graduate of ArtEZ University of the Arts, Arnhem.
